Sky Link TV urges the Asian and Chinese communities to speak out against hate and discrimination. Our community needs to heal from the trauma of the past few years. Thanks to the combined efforts and advocacy of the government, media, and various community organizations, incidents of violence targeting Asians and Chinese have gradually decreased, and more people in the community are stepping up to speak out. However, looking forward, how can we ensure that the efforts of the past few years will not be in vain? How will the anti-hate movement continue to evolve? Will the elections bring more division within the community? Sky Link TV will continue to focus on these issues.
Regardless, if you or someone you know has been a victim or witness to a hate incident, please remember to report it through the California Anti-Hate Hotline. You can also share your experiences and stories with us to raise awareness and empower the community: https://woobox.com/hcavik. If you need assistance, there are many nonprofit organizations in the community willing to provide services.
